Connecting with the next generation of policymakers and cross-sector leaders is now mission-critical to reversing our overreliance on plastics. As part of our community sensitisation strategy, the team at Radical Change Network engaged schoolchildren in the Ga West Municipality to drive awareness on the environmental and public-health risks of single-use plastics.
The engagement delivered measurable impact: 294 students committed as Plastic-Smart Ambassadors, pledging to adopt reusable alternatives and cascade behaviour change across peer and family networks.
We extend our appreciation to the Principal and teaching staff of Upper Class International School for hosting the session and for the strong institutional alignment with our sustainability objectives.
